Jules and Rob would like to thank all of you for your support and custom over the years.
They have very much enjoyed selling beads and promoting beading and jewellery making, and if possible Jules & Rob may find themselves trying it all again one day.

I’m so sorry to hear what has happened and I just wanted to let you know that I’m in exactly the same situation. My bead shop is closing any day (just waiting for a date from the solicitors) so I know how you’re feeling. Unfortunately, I can’t offer any words of comfort because I know that none make a difference at this time. All I can say is that because of the situation there is a lot of help and understanding out there, people have been very kind to me and you have lots of support on the beader’s forum. Please feel free to email me if you want to have a chat with somebody who is going through the same thing.

Sadly I suspected that you’d disappeared a few weeks before Christmas when I left work early, only to find your Suite locked up at 3.40pm. I have driven past on a few occasions since, thinking that it was just a family glitch or something, but now I know for sure.
It was lovely having such a great facility on my doorstep and I’m so grateful to you for your help and support during Autumn 2008 as I started my new hobby, inspired totally by Jules Cox.

What does a small business have to do these days to stay afloat? I can only assume you have been hit by the performace of sterling. I understand just how tough the market is out there for the self-employed right now, we’ve just about managed to keep our heads above water, so I couldn’t sympathise more. Your fast and efficient service was second to none and l never had to wait more than a day to receive my order - not many companies can offer that kind of service. I just logged on to look at your wonderful selection of beads, from which I have often bought in the past and was so sad to discover that you’ve ceased trading!

I find this so hard to believe. I have been a customer since the first shop in Cardiff. You will be sorely missed by beaders who like a bit of quality in their work.

I can not begin to tell you how much joy choosing, buying and using your beads has given me over the many long years I have been one of your customers. All the friends and relatives that I have made jewellery for have commented again and again on how original and beautiful your choice of beads has been. I don’t know the reason for your business ending - I do know it is very hard for any business to survive - but I know for certain it was not because of you, your stock or your truly kind, efficient and very enjoyable service. Bought lots from you beginning of last year - have used it all up, sold it to friends, and come back for more and all I can say is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! You were definitely the best for choice, quality and price all rolled into one - just looking at my toolkit with julesgems engraved on the case now - very sad

Really sorry to hear your news - I always went to your site first when ordering, and recommended you to people who opted for bead jewellery on craft holidays. Sadly I think many more will follow. Great loss to beaders everywhere - good luck for the future.

I hadn’t bought anything since just before Christmas and couln’t believe it when I went online tonight - and found you’ve ceased trading. I am /so/ sorry, you will be missed, I loved your beads and you and your staff were always so helpful. Good luck in the future, I think the tributes above show just how much you will be missed.

I was gutted to log on and find you’re no longer trading - and am so disappointed for you - what a difficult time it must be. I loved your products, bought nearly everything from you, and can’t find any where to buy the same range at the same price….I so hope you’ll be trading again at some point.

hi there - I thought I was onto something as I filed my invoices - make beautiful jewellery - staring at me, so I jumped online hoping to discover your new outlet . . . . oh well, I live in hope. I can’t understand where it all went wrong for you, but at least you didn’t turn to selling cheap rubbish to keep sales going. I really hope you get sorted (and soon!)
